REGULATIONS

CLUB RULES

Article 1

The members, by their membership, automatically declare themselves in agreement with the Club Rules. They participate voluntarily in the activities of the association.

Article 2

The membership fee includes administrative costs and participation in ordinary activities.

An additional fee may be charged for certain activities.

The membership fee is indivisible and non-refundable.

Article 3

The minimum annual membership fee is determined by the general meeting of the association and announced via the normal ordinary communication channels.

Failure to pay the membership fee automatically results in dismissal from the club.

Article 4

Any membership must be submitted to and approved by the Club Committee.

Article 5

The minimum age for membership is 12 years. Minor members (-18 years) can only be admitted with written permission of the parents, guardian or holder of parental authority and under their full responsibility.

Article 6

Each participant is assumed to be medically fit, to participate in the activities

with equipment in good condition and to have good insurance against third parties.

Article 7

Participants are expected to strictly observe the road code and follow the instructions of the Ride Captains at all times. Also with regard to the speed to be applied.

Article 8

On joint rides and outings, each member shall provide and to wear it.

Article 9

The board strongly urges everyone, on all rides, to wear a helmet. Apart from the extra protection, the insurance will not cover any compensation in case of head injury if it appears that shows that it was not worn.

Article 10

During joint outings, each member behaves with respect for the other participants, road users, third parties and nature.

Article 11

Non-club members ride along at their own risk. They may only join at the back of the group.

It is the job of the road captain to ensure that non-club members ride at the back of the group and not between the club members. This is for the club members’ own safety.

Article 12

WTC De Hoek or its Committee bears no responsibility and can never be held

be held liable for any fault committed by any of its members, or for any accident

any accident, error or activity. Club members or third parties can never hold the association or the Committee responsible.

Article 13

In case of non-compliance with the rules and regulations, the Committe can impose sanctions, up to a possible expulsion from the club.
